Discipline is the watchword for the successful operation of any organisation specially for an educational institution. Parimal Mitra Smriti Mahavidyalaya has a prescribed code of conduct that is binding on the stakeholders to maintain discipline, nurture good values and facilitate smooth functioning of the institution.
• Students must be respectful towards teachers, college staffs and fellow students.
• It is compulsory for all students to wear a ‘college uniform’ and display their college identity card before entering the college.
• 75% attendance of students is mandatory or else they will not be allowed to sit for the university examination.
• As per CBCS rules our college conducts internal examinations of fifteen marks in each semester to check the performance of the students. The college also pays special vigilance to the fact that all students should attend this exam except any special difficulties.
• Use of mobile phone or any other electronic gadgets within the class or laboratories, without the permission of concerned teachers, are strictly prohibited.
• Students should avoid littering in the College campus, they must keep the college campus clean and organized as far as possible.
• The students have to submit an anti-Ragging declaration at the time of admission. The Anti ragging committee will monitor the activities on the campus and act promptly when needed to ensure a peaceful atmosphere prevails on the campus.
• The Grievance Redressal Mechanism of the college is headed by the Internal Complaint Committee whose decisions and suggestions will be binding on all stakeholders of the institution.
• Located in a tribal belt in western Dooars, our college caters to a diverse population of students who come from different religious, linguistic and cultural backgrounds. It is binding on the stakeholders, the faculty, office staff, administrator and the students to be polite and refrain from any activity or behaviour which appears offensive or abusive to anybody. Stringent action will be taken against anybody found culpable of any such act.
• The sprawling campus is under CCTV surveillance; those who violate the prescribed code of conduct of the institution will not be spared.
